Youth Work Programs
Our Youth groups offer young people fun, safe environments where they can interact with their peers and develop new interests.
Youth Inspired is a dedicated service funded by the Corra Foundation and Renfrewshire Alcohol & Drug Partnership (ADP), providing specialist, confidential support for young people and families affected by drug and alcohol use.
Whether you are looking for help with your own substance use, or struggling because of a family member's, we are here for you - and when we can, we take a Whole Family Approach, ensuring that no one has to walk their recovery journey alone.

We specialise in working with the unique developmental stage of adolescence. The teenage and young adult years are a time of rapid neurological, emotional, and social change.
Because the adolescent brain and identity are still evolving, standard adult recovery models do not work for young people. Our team is specifically trained to understand adolescent risk-taking, peer influence, and identity formation. We tailor every conversation, therapy session, and boundary to fit this specific life stage, ensuring our support is developmentally appropriate, impactful, and safe.

Young people face distinct challenges that require a completely different approach to adult services. Specialised youth support matters because:

Counselling, psychotherapy, and one-to-one mentoring to help young people explore their mental health, process trauma, build healthy coping mechanisms, and set and achieve personal goals.
Personalised guidance to help young people cut down, stop, or safely manage their drug or alcohol use, alongside peer-led support groups where they can connect with others who truly understand what they're going through.
Dedicated space and coping strategies for families and young people affected by a relative's substance use, with a Whole Family Approach at the heart of everything we do.

Young people can learn healthier behaviours and coping strategies, helping them break free from the cycle of substance misuse.
Our therapeutic support helps young people process the trauma of substance misuse, allowing them to heal emotionally and build resilience against future challenges.
With guidance and support, young people can build self confidence, and develop a clear vision for their future.
