Youth Work Programs
Our Youth groups offer young people fun, safe environments where they can interact with their peers and develop new interests.
Children young people and families are at the heart of all that we do. A children’s rights based approach underpins the services that we deliver, supporting all families to flourish and thrive.
We know that all things are not equal with some families managing more vulnerabilities than others. These families need to be able to access appropriate, empowering, flexible support from a skilled and compassionate workforce.




Every family are unique and we work with your family system meeting both your individual and collective needs.
Working together, we will:

For children, young people and families with practitioners who have a robust understanding of context, age, and stage, neurodivergence and the impact this can have on lives as well our social community.
Weekly group where families / carers of can get together, share their experiences, and enjoy various activities, experience positive parenting / behavioural change techniques as well as acceptance and understanding of who your child is - and that not everything is your fault!
With youth workers to engage in activities such as art, craft, dance, music and connect with others and make friends (please click here see our Facebook page for the plethora of activities we offer other youth groups)

Parents and carers can improve their communication and understanding with their children, fostering stronger, more supportive family bonds.
YI’s combined adult and youth services ensure that both parents, guardians, and children receive tailored support, to help the whole family increase their well-being.
Parents and carers can learn effective strategies to manage their own stress and challenges, while their children gain valuable life skills and emotional resilience through the youth programs, leading to a healthier family dynamic.
